So, here we are, on Movable Type. Things are going to look wonky for a little while, as Marc and I (more Marc than I) continue to work out the details of this little technological wonder. And you thought all I was doing was cooking and knitting...
Posted at 9:42 PM in category computerrrr.Wow!!! I'm very excited for you all...and might be looking for help when I begin my own Moveable Type move!
Can't wait to see how everything unfolds.
Posted by: Ismat on 05 Feb 2003 at 9:55 AMAwesome. I fear MT, and yet I know I must move toward its welcoming, warming light.
I don't know how married you were to the orange look, but I do like this clean thing you've got going.
Posted by: Tony on 05 Feb 2003 at 7:29 PMI do love orange. That's what made leaving my beloved orange Blogger most difficult. This is pretty much the MT default, with a couple of (perhaps unfortunate, in retrospect) changes. I did spend nearly two years with the orange.
Posted by: kate on 05 Feb 2003 at 11:41 PMKate, why are there no comments above?
Posted by: Ismat on 06 Feb 2003 at 9:35 AMIsmat, MT has the option of turning comments on or off for each post. I was tired of looking at so many zeroes, so I've set my default to "off," at least for now. It's not that I don't welcome feedback; it's just that I wasn't really getting much. I'll turn them on sometimes. And I'm thinking of adding one of those sidebar comment things for general comments.
Posted by: kate on 06 Feb 2003 at 12:15 PMI think the page needs some orange highlights.
Posted by: Marc on 06 Feb 2003 at 1:19 PMI miss the orange.
